Content & Community Guidelines
Based on the Terms of Service effective October 11, 2026
Narra is a place to read, choose and talk about stories. These guidelines bring together the rules from our Terms of Service that decide what belongs on Narra. If anything here and the Terms ever differ, the Terms apply.
Who Narra is for, and what stories contain
You must be at least 13 years old, or 16 in countries whose law sets 16 as the minimum age for using online services on your own. You confirm your age when you create an account. If you are under 18, you need the permission of a parent or guardian, who agrees to these terms for you. Some stories include mature themes such as violence, dark subjects or romance. You can hide themes you don’t want in Settings → Content exclusions. Sexually explicit content is not offered on Narra, and content that sexualises minors is never allowed. We may ask you to confirm your age, and limit some stories by age.
What isn’t allowed
Be kind and use Narra fairly. Don’t: harass, threaten or bully anyone; post hate speech or content that promotes violence; post sexual content involving minors, or anything illegal; share other people’s private information; post content you don’t have the rights to; spam, scam or impersonate others; try to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer Narra, get around limits or access other accounts; use bots or scripts to read, vote or collect rewards; or try to make Narra write content that breaks these rules. We may remove content and limit or close accounts that break these rules. If you see something wrong, report it in the app or email us at support@narraread.com.
Notes, comments and stories you add
“Your content” is anything you add to Narra: notes in the reader, choices you propose in your own words, ratings, comments, your profile and any stories you create or publish. You keep ownership of it. You give Narra a worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display and use your content to run Narra, to shape stories (including stories other readers see), to keep Narra safe, and to improve how Narra writes and recommends stories. This licence ends when your content is deleted, except for copies already part of a story other readers are reading, and backups kept for a short time. Every note is read, but not every note changes a story. Stories you publish are checked before they go public, and we may decline them with a reason.
How stories are checked
Every chapter is checked before any reader sees it. A chapter that fails is held for human review instead of being published, and some content can never be approved, whoever asks for it. Stories readers publish are checked before they go public, and we may decline them with a reason.
Reporting a problem
Use Report in the app on any story, chapter or comment, or email support@narraread.com. Tell us what you saw and where. We may remove content and limit or close accounts that break these rules; where reasonable we’ll tell you why and give you a chance to respond (Terms, section 9).
